DSB International School at IB Global Conference 2026: Championing Shared Learning and AI-Driven Innovation
DSB International School proudly participated in the prestigious #IBGC2026 conference, embracing this year’s theme, Shared Learning, Shared Future. Our involvement highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering global collaboration and innovative educational practices.
A standout moment was the inspiring performance by our Grade 12 students, which beautifully captured the essence of the conference theme. Their presentation not only showcased their talents but also reflected the values of shared knowledge and collective growth that underpin the International Baccalaureate community.
Adding to the intellectual vibrancy of the event, Stephanie Holt, our Director of Learning and Teaching, led a highly engaging workshop titled "AI for Learning: Using Thinking Routines to Support ATL Development." This session sparked meaningful conversations around the integration of artificial intelligence in education, focusing on how thinking routines can effectively support Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills. Participants explored practical strategies to harness AI tools to enhance critical thinking, creativity, and student agency, positioning learners for success in an increasingly digital world.
Beyond these highlights, members of DSB’s Senior Management Team and faculty actively engaged with educators and leaders from across the globe. These interactions strengthened professional networks and deepened our collective commitment to advancing educational innovation and equity. Through these collaborations, DSB International School reaffirmed its dedication to shaping a future-ready learning environment that prepares students to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Our participation in #IBGC2026 reflects DSB's ongoing pursuit of excellence and leadership in international education, driven by a shared vision of learning that is inclusive, forward-thinking, and transformative.
