Friday, 4th December was a very special day at DSB, as a guest from a far away country visited Garden Campus: St. Nicholas! He came with his heavy, red cape, his mitre and his golden crosier. As soon as lessons began, his bell sounded through the corridors. The children were so excited when he finally opened their classroom door! Like every year, he brought his Golden book with all the good deeds and successes of each child and then gave everyone a small gift. In return, each child proudly handed over his/her envelope with a donation for the children of Balvikas. Some children sang a song, played the recorder or recited a poem. St. Nicholas was very impressed and enjoyed his stay at DSB!
