Project week saw a culmination of the various topics KG had been engaged in.
The stables evoked a lot of enthusiasm! The children saw a huge race horse being washed by the stable hands. They fed them carrots and apples and also saw the food they get. The high point was when the horses started neighing wildly for their breakfast!
The children were very excited to see the crocodiles, elephants, monkeys, hippos, hyena and a python at the zoo on Tuesday. We also saw a bear being treated for a wound on his paw.
A vegetable vendor visited our class on Wednesday and the children decided to buy some vegetables to make a soup. They also examined the scales and measures he was using to weigh the vegetables. We then harvested our vegetables in the school garden and made parathas with them. The soup and parathas were relished by most of the children!
