The whole school and wider community came together to enjoy a lovely afternoon at the annual school carnival. The event comprised of food stalls, NGO stalls, games and live entertainment on the stage.
DSB was represented in true international school style as parents kindly hosted a variety of food stalls with delicious cuisine from around the w
orld. Several NGOs promoted their respective charities at the event by providing massages and selling their products. Students and staff led the game stalls and some excellent talent was showcased as the afternoon progressed to add to the fun on the day!
We are incredibly proud of 12E (IB) who worked so hard to put together a fabulous event which bought both the school and wider community together. The group of eight students demonstrated skills for lifelong learning throughout the planning and execution of the event. This was a great example of a CAS project led by the IB students to raise money for the Pali School Project which forms the service component of their CAS programme.
We are also thankful to the children from Acorn Foundation who shared the day with us and the Dharavi Rock Band who were our opening act and did a great job of getting the crowd going!
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the event and helped to make it a success! We hope to see you again next year.
