Is there a School Bus?
Yes. We currently operate a bus for South Mumbai. Contact the office for details on timings and cost.

What is the climate like throughout the year?
Mumbai is warm and dry from October to May. Temperatures from November to March average 30 degrees Celsius. The months of April and May preceding the monsoon and October immediately after the monsoon are usually very hot and humid with temperatures in the mid to high 30 degrees Celsius. The monsoon typically falls from mid-June to late-September when there is heavy rainfall.

Do you provide school lunches?
We currently organise lunch two days of the week for children from Reception Class and up. There is a small charge per meal. The school actively supports a healthy eating policy.

Do you have a play ground?
DSB International is fortune to have a lovely, protected garden with a large climbing frame and other outdoor facilities. We also utilise sports facilities such as a swimming pool and gymnasium at neighbouring Clubs.

Can you help provide English lessons?
Teaching of English as a Foreign Language is available for both children and parents.

What foreign languages are offered?
English, German and French are included in the curriculum.

Should we be concerned about tropical diseases such as Malaria?
Precautions should always be taken to protect against diseases such as malaria. We always recommend families ensure their vaccinations are up-to-date and they consider using mosquito repellent.

Do you conduct SATS tests in line with the British National Curriculum?
SATS tests are currently conducted for English and Numeracy beginning in Year 2.

Can I get in touch with other families from the school?
We are happy to put both parents and children in touch with each other, particularly with people from the same year or nationality. We have an active parent committee with representatives for each class and communication through email is extensive.
