Message from the Principal
DSB International School, Mumbai is a small school with a welcoming atmosphere.
We pride ourselves on the commitment offered by our friendly and professional staff. A family atmosphere is both encouraged and apparent throughout the school and we place great importance on the partnership of students, parents and teachers.
DSB has a German strand following the Thűrigen Curriculum from Germany and an International strand based on the National Curriculum of England with an additional focus on Indian Cultural Studies. The school has an excellent teacher to student ratio with classes for students from three years to fourteen years of age.
The staff is a highly motivated and experienced team who seek to develop the individual potential of all students. We value the uniqueness that each child brings to our school. We provide a child-centred, supportive environment which encourages students to be independent, self confident learners. We promote an awareness of others’ religious, ethnic and cultural diversity, by working with parents, community, and other schools in the local area.
Our central aim is to prepare young people for the future in a changing world that demands flexibility, adaptability and tolerance as well as a wide range of skills. We achieve this by enhancing the growth of the children, intellectually, morally, emotionally, physically and socially through an engaging and challenging curriculum in a stimulating and secure environment that nurtures self esteem, independent learning and responsible thinking.
